Downloading the App

Is the Post 200 app free to download?

Yes. The Post 200 app is free on Android (Google Play), iOS (App Store), and Windows. There are no in-app purchases.

Do I need to be an American Legion member to use the app?

No. The app is open to the public for browsing events, news, and Post 200 information. Members can sign in with their Post 200 credentials to access their profile and member-only tools.

Account and Login

How do I log in to the Post 200 app?

Use your Post 200 member email and password — the same credentials you use on the website. If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, you will be prompted for your authenticator code after entering your credentials.

I'm an officer at Post 200. Can I manage the Post from the app?

Yes. Officers who sign in see a Post Tools section with access to member rosters, event management, hall-rental inquiry triage, contact messages, and the activity log. Your officer access is based on the role assigned to your Post 200 account.

Events and Calendar

Can I save Post 200 events to my phone calendar?

Yes. On any event detail page in the app, tap "Save to My Calendar" to add the event directly to your device calendar — iPhone, Android, or Windows.

Hall Rental Inquiries

How do I submit a hall-rental inquiry through the app?

Open the More tab, tap Hall Rental, and complete the three-step inquiry form. A Post 200 representative will follow up within two business days.

Push Notifications

Does the app support push notifications?

Yes — push notifications are supported on Android for events and announcements. iOS push notifications are in development and will be added in a future update. Windows push notifications are not included in v1.

Privacy and Data

What data does the app collect?

The app stores your authentication token securely on your device. If you enable push notifications on Android, a Firebase device token is registered with Post 200's server. Inquiry forms collect only the information you enter. See the full privacy notice at mobile.wallispost200.org/privacy.
